Girls Weekend

What fun I had at Antique Weekend 2008. For those of you who don't know exactly what this is - take a look at www.antiqueweekend.com . This event happens twice a year along highway 237 around Round Top and Warrenton, TX. There are hundreds of vendors in several towns and there is NO WAY to see it all. I met my good friend Tammy there and we shopped all day Saturday. We saw everything from pure garage sale junk, to antique furniture, to funky chique designs - along with all kinds of hand made items and great food. I even spent some time Saturday night helping her set up a blog for her family - and the best part of the weekend just might be the fact that I did not get out of bed this morning until 8:50 am!!! Yes, I was able to sleep in and get dressed in leisure without have to fix breakfast for anyone. That made it a vacation for sure.
