Photoshop rookie

I have officially begun to dabble in the world of Adobe Photoshop. I have been dying to play around with some pictures ever since I found the "Confessions of a Pioneer Woman" blog. She gives great photo tips and I am determined to take better pictures and then make them even better...I hope! Here is the before/after shot of Ryan.

I was attempting to make it a black & white photo with a burn out edge that had a hint of color still visible. It still needs work but it was fun trying things out. Check out the Pioneer Woman blog and see all her great photos. There is a link on my blog (just look on the left side margin).
