My baby is now 3!

We are entering a new phase of life around here as our youngest turns 3. I haven't been one that mourns the loss of childhood for my kiddos. I didn't cry when my oldest went to kindergarten, and as I look back, I wasn't sad when any of the kids moved out of the crib, or the high chair. I've always been excited about the new phase of life that God brings us in to. As we move out of the baby/toddler stage we look forward to a greater number of family activities we can all do together. I'm excited for this different phase of life and I'm not looking back. I don't miss the baby phase at all. Holding another person's baby doesn't even make my heart sink! Jeremy's glad about that too! As a family of boys we look forward to lots of activities and a fast pace of life. We haven't really gotten in to the sports thing yet - and I'm perfectly fine with that. I have discovered that I can be a bit of a "home-body". The thought of going to practices 2 nights a week and spending hours on Sat. at the ball park makes me cringe! We like our own family pace of life...but know that it will quickly be changing as the boys get older. Austin has played basketball and that wasn't really his thing. We'll move on to something else next time...that will just have to be another post! This was supposed to be about Ryan turning 3! He loved his Diego Rescue Pack cake and party. He's such a big boy now!
